The Financial Chaos Training Academy (FCTA) was started in 2007 by Daniel Oherein to teach people proper application of chaos theory to the financial markets using the Bible.

Chaos theory is widely used to solve complex problems in physical sciences, space science, artificial intelligence, neural network using various mathematical models. However, similar approaches to forecasting financial markets has not been very successful due to dearth of literature on how this can be done for non-linear and dynamical unstable systems such as financial markets. 

In the past, financial analysts have literally borrowed the concept and are applying it wrongly as if financial markets are physical processes. Probably the best-known numerical methods of describing financial chaos to date are those based on rescale range (R/S), Hurst exponents, Kurtosis and skew statistical analysis popularised by Professor Benoit Mandelbrot of Yale University, and Bill Williams' bundles of statistical indicators - fractal, alligator, awesome oscillator, etc. By their very nature, these statistical techniques are based on past or historical data, and only suitable to the "old markets" but not the "future" markets. One common mistake statistical models have is their ignorance of why markets follows God's own activity pattern based on the law of the Sabbath - work for 6 days, rest on the 7th day, and start a new activity or cycle on the 8th day.
