Replicating Miracle of Unceasing Olive Oil in a Bottle

When I gave my life to Christ, top of the list of what I wanted from God is for him to restore my failed business. My first request was that God should show me His ways to invest properly in the stock and financial markets. By the end of 2010, I can now see how God has exceedingly increased my knowledge more than when I first ran to Him in 2006.

The second most important prayer that I and my family prayed was inspired by the miracle of Elisha. We were naďve born again Christians . Everyone knows the story of how a windowed and her family approached the man of God for financial help. Elisha then gave them a small bottle of unceasing ‘olive oil’ which they used to refill many larger vessels and jars. 

The Bible said after resale of miracle oil they hard enough to pay off their debts and start a new business again just as promised by the man of God.   

 You might want to know what we prayed for. We did not pray for oil. We prayed that God should bless us and give us a supply of unending multitudes of clients to be patronizing our business.

After we said the prayer, which we repeated several times for that week, nothing significant happened to increase our sales  or improvement in our household income or even clients ready to test the revelation from God about His investment principles. In fact, our income actually started declining. 

Like every new convert, it is only recently that I discovered that we were praying out of context and not in line with the Kingdom of God, hence, we were not able to hear from God what we needed to do and to adjust our business practices to serve His people properly.

It was only in 2011, while I was studying Jacob’s miracle that it suddenly occurred to me to revisit Elisha’s miracle of “unceasing olive oil” in a graphical form again in order to see whether the Lord could show me where I missed the point in our earlier prayer.

As usual, I listed down what I wanted to use to represent the oil inside the bottled. I asked the Holy Spirit to minister to me what I need to do correctly.

I went back to read the story in 2 Kings 4:1-44 ESV several times – over several days, thinking and meditating about this miracle. 

“Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord, but the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.”

And Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me; what have you in the house?” And she said, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.”

Then he said, “Go outside, borrow vessels from all your neighbours, empty vessels and not too few. Then go in and shut the door behind yourself and your sons and pour into all these vessels. And when one is full, set it aside.”

“So she went from him and shut the door behind herself and her sons. And as she poured as they brought the vessels to her.”

The Spirit of the Lord told me that as long as they were having vessels and they continue to pray, the oil could have continued to pour out forever and without end. Yes, I needed something like that where the oil will continue forever without end.

The miracle stopped as soon as they ran out of vessels and they stopped praying. What else could they have been doing besides pouring the oil to refill larger vessels? Probably the window would have been singing praises and saying thank you Lord, thank you Lord.

So what can I use to represent oil? People and prayers, the Holy Spirit today me. As long as I keep receiving multitudes of prayers from people God is able to answer all of them.

What will people be praying for? I asked the Holy Spirit again. Whatever you asked them to pray for God is able to deliver that unto your hands. They can pray that God should send you seeds, partners, clients and their multimillion dollar accounts manage, supports, workers, healings; they can pray for miracles and healing for themselves, open doors, job promotions, new business ideas, scholarship, etc, God is able to deliver whatever they prayed on your behalf unto their hands to delivered unto.

 However, there are challenges. How will the people deliver what God asked them to give  to me?  The Holy Spirit told me some will hold back what is in their hands and eat it up; others will give out what you asked them to give you because they want to receive more from God.

I got it!

What we need is a system that keeps supplying people with prayers (oil) and asking them to bless us with small seed after feeding them with bread of life…..prayers, knowledge of God, teaching them how they can repeat the same miracles themselves – that is become a blessing unto others.

My first translation for the unceasing olive oil is shown below.

In digital age you are not going to be selling oil but you can sell miraculous ideas or share your own testimonies of how God helped you recover from your sickness or how God gave you a breakthrough. 

Don’t ask people to pray for you, learn how to pray for other people by yourself even if you are the one suffering from the problem.

You must have heard of how Joel Osteen’s mother was healed of her cancer by praying for other people.  Joel Osteen is the senior pastor of Lakewood Church, America’s largest and fastest-growing congregation with more than forty-five thousand adults in attendance every week and millions of television viewers worldwide.

The passage below was taken directly from Joel Osteen’s “Best Selling Book on Your Best Life now” narrating his got healed by her praying for others.

“I will never forget what my mother did when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer back in 1987. After she got out of that hospital, she could easily have come home and just sunk into deep pit of depression. But mother didn’t do that. She didn’t stay focused on herself she didn’t constantly dwell on that sickness. In her time of greatest needs in darkest hour of her life what did she do? She went to church and prayed for other people who were sick or in need. She sows those seeds of healing. And just as the scripture says, as she began to help other people in need, her light broke forth like dawn, and her own healing came.” - Joel Osteen

If you need seeds, pray to God to help other people in need of seeds; and also sow to receive the knowledge to set up a similar system that will help  multitudes of people to be aware that you are praying for them.  

On a closer examination of the advise of Elisha, you can see that it is not different from the dream Jacob received on how to turn bitterness into sweetness, using stripped and spotted branches of trees.

The word of God which is the Bible is the assurance and tells us that God is in the business sowing, scattering seeds without holding back. 

 Proverbs 11:27 as follows:

27. He who diligently seeks good seeks favour, But he who seeks evil, evil will come to him.

By sketching down how to receive miracle of unceasing seeds, this miracle will come my way. If you are expecting to have a baby, and you have the mental picture of a girl in your mind, and you pray, and you keep praying, you will have a baby girl.

The only way to seek good things and favours is to open the doors of your hearts to God’s heart through prayer. If you are not praying well to God it means that your heart is permanently opened to Satan’s deceptiveness of saying there is no such things as miracles. Your thoughts will easily be filled with evil ways of doing things called “common wisdom” or “common sense.”

You cannot have miracles by common sense but through supernatural reasoning and constant dialogues with God through prayers.  This is why I started to sketch down the concepts of how to be offering ceaseless prayers to God on behalf of others. 

The concepts took me more than 2 years to put together and test. 

I have written many prayers addressing different needs. When prayer system is presented to many people visiting web page and each person prayed, then we have faith in God that answers prayers, and that he is able to answer each one that prayed to deliver seeds to us.

This is what counts. It is the end product that matters, that is ability to have faith, take the Word of as is and believe that it should and it will work for continuously into Eternity and forever and ever!

If your ministry is not growing, or your business is not moving fast, look for another ministry or business to be praying for and if possible sow unto them, God will also look in your direction to make other people to have compassion for your church, ministry, needs, sickness, etc.

In Africa alone there are more than 355 million people who has professed  Christians. Majority of these people lives in Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo,  Ethiopia, South Africa as shown below.

Majority of them have received the gospel of prosperity, but the concept is not cleared, however, they are willing to start their own ministries of sharing miracles with other people or sowing seeds for God's works all around the world. 

Most of them are linked to the internet via trending mobile phones.  They have sowed into different ministries in the past but 99% of them have not experience real financial blessings in their businesses because they do not understand that sowing into few churches is not enough to be having unceasing seeds. The miracle of olive oil is neither in the oil nor in Elisha but in   the Word of God; and  the faith of the woman and her children in the instructions (God’s instructions) given to them by Elisha. Nobody has ever told you this secret or sermon before.

First, God only releases partial knowledge or help, and wait whether you have faith in His knowledge. When you show faith, and you have been tested to have faith in the Word, God releases the remaining solution by opening your eyes or vision to understand the solution.
